RACING into 2024 with Will Rodgers in the driver’s seaT!

Godwin Motorsports is excited for another race season in 2024. The Godwin team finished third in the Toyota GR Cup Series sanctioned by SRO Motorsports of Austin TX.

With a successful first season and fast growth in their program, the leadership team of Godwin Motorsports has decided to transition into the TransAm TA2 Series presented by Pirelli.

This exciting series is going to bring the next level of competition and success for the Godwin Motorsports team. Godwin is excited to have Will Rodgers returning in the 2024 season as their principal driver. Rodgers finished fifth in the 2023 GR Cup series while winning a variety of auxiliary awards such as the pole, hard charger, and fastest lap.

"We have seen unprecedented growth in our team this season and like anything else, in order to grow we need to keep advancing. We're grateful for the start that we had in GR Cup, but we are excited for what's next" said Jamison Strain. President of Godwin Motorsports.

The Big Machine Vodka SPIKED Coolers TA2 Series racecar is a purpose-built racing machine that is designed, built, and tuned with only one thing in mind-performance.

With engines restricted to just 530 horsepower, longevity is promoted without sacrificing the performance of the car. While TransAm has had some of the biggest names in motorsports, the stable of Young Guns keep setting record attendances from race to race. The series puts on shows with consistent side-by-side racing, and continues to break their own track records as the platform becomes more refined, all while maintaining its cost controlled approach.

Godwin Motorsports is excited to announce their debut in the Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers TA2 Series slated to compete in 11 races in the 2024 season.
